Helen Rear is a writer, reviewer and all-round lover of the written word. She graduated from Bangor University in 2020 with a first class honours degree in English Literature and Creative Writing. Her work has been published by Popshot, Agenda, and Lucent Dreaming Magazine, among others. In 2019 her poem 'New Engine Desperado' was shortlisted for the Barren Press Poetry Contest, and her poem 'Bells' was shortlisted for the Poetry Space Competition in 2018. When not writing, she can be found obsessing over the CW's Arrowverse and hanging out with her cat.
